It was just beginning to emerge when Ravi got a call. His friend Arjun, one who he had spent his childhood with. "Too long since the families didn't meet," said Arjun. "Let's go to some place that's not in the city for two days and create some good memories. I spotted this resort—Suggee Resort —it's a family-oriented resort."

Zip Lining: The dads, those ever-loving daredevils, challenged the kids to try the zip line first. When Aanya demurred, her dad put out his hand and said softly, "You're braver than you think." Taking a deep breath, she leaped—and came crashing down with a victorious yell!

Sky Cycling & Air Surfing: The mothers, most forgetful in the midst of day's activity, paused and tried it. "Let's go sky cycling!" screamed Meera. Pedaling down the air, hair waving in the breeze, they felt young again, free.

Zorbing: Number one favorite activity of the kids! Kabir and Aanya giggled uncontrollably rolling down rolling hills within the huge inflated rubber ball. "Once more! Once more!" they begged.

ATV Tours: Children and fathers wore helmets and cranked engines, excited to ride through rough terrain on ATV motorbikes. Racing their ATVs at top speed along winding trails with great thunder caused by hurrying them to be first on the racing line filled them with adventurous explorers' passion.

Paintball: The families divided into teams and plotted like warriors before entering the paintball field. Shreds of color whizzed through the air as they dodged, shot, and laughed their way through an exhilarating game.

To top it all off, the resort had also arranged for a candlelight dinner in the evening. Though fairy lights glowed and there was the calming breeze in the air to get everyone in the mood, it was not a meal—but an invitation to take things slow and enjoy life's little pleasures.

At night, the families retreated to their spacious and cozy rooms. The well-furnished rooms, comfortable mattresses, and peaceful atmosphere were all that the family needed to relax after a day of adventure. The children, exhausted but satisfied, slept peacefully with memories of the good times flashing through their minds.

As Ravi and Meera sipped tea, looking out at the evening sky from their balcony, both of them realized how rare such moments had been. "We have to do it more often," Meera panted.

A Promising Goodbye

As they were winding up, Ravi turned to Arjun. "You were right. We needed this."

Arjun smiled. "This wasn't a trip. It was a reminder that happiness isn't in deadlines and schedules—it's in moments like these."

As they departed, the kids were already planning their next holiday. And deep inside, the parents knew—they'd be back.
